Point Lookout

Point Lookout is a favorite place to stop for a Kodak moment. Accessable only traveling east on US 40 traveling up Summit Mountain, Point Lookout offers a beautiful view of the valley below including Uniontown. Early settlers heading westward on the National Road would have see a similar sight as they descended the final range of the Allegeny Mountains. On a clear day, the view is amazing. Even better is the view at night.

It this type of scenery turns you on, you might also consider a visit to the Cross, just a few miles from here on Jumonville Road.
